CURRICULUM II - The Team-Building Forum

Under Construction - 10/17/06

This Curriculum is aimed at Bonding the Masons who have decided to enroll in The Full Masonic Builders program.

Part One - The Votaries Forum - Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

Votary Defined:  A person who is devoted to some subject or pursuit.  Example, A votary of jazz (Webster's Unabridged Dictionary).

Masonic Builders are Votaries.  Some become interested in studying organizations and leadership.  Some become interested in studying the history of Masonry.  Some are interested in a variety of subjects.

The Purpose of the Votaries Forum. To provide both a Virtual meeting place for Masonic Builders and to communicate periodic face-to-face conferences and workshops for specific Votary Special Interest Group members.

Internationally Dispersed Masonic Builders Can Meet Here With Those of Like Interests -Regardless of the location or Grand Lodge affiliation, lie-minded Masonic Builders can find other Masonic Builders with similar interests.  The Votaries provides a forum and vehicle to bring geographically dispersed but like-minded men together.

Part Two - Experiential Forum - Physical Team Events

Similar to such team-building events like Outward Bound, this forum will provide opportunities for Masonic Builders to relate to one another.  Conceptualized to occur on specific over-night weekends at our Masonic Camp in Flagstaff, Arizona area, periodic events will invite small groups to come together to engage in group activities.

These activities will be both physical - such as hand-to-hand defense and basic survival skills AND intellectual - evening discussions with each other on how each perceives his Masonic career or can provide more effective leadership to his lodge.
